Interventional psychiatry is undergoing remarkable growth, with approaches such as ECT, rTMS, ketamine-based therapies and DBS becoming increasingly central to modern psychiatric care. This first edition brings together specialists and practising clinicians to strengthen dialogue, clarify indications and better integrate these treatments into everyday practice.

 

Morning session (in French) – Clinical perspectives, 08:30–12:30

Current state of rTMS and ECT in psychiatry, followed by a panel discussion of complex clinical cases and treatment-resistant situations.

Speakers: Fady Rachid, Jean-Frédéric Mall, Kevin Swierkosz-Lenart.

 

Afternoon session (in English) – Translational and neuroscience perspectives, 14:00–17:15

Interventional psychiatry at the crossroads of clinical neuroscience, OCD circuits and DBS, and biomarkers in interventional psychiatry.

Speakers: Pierre Marquet, Luc Mallet, Éric Burguière, Sebastian Olbrich.
